Terms of Service
general
Prices listed are in USD.
I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason.
I also have the right to use any commissioned art as part of my portfolio. Please let me know if you'd like to keep your commission private.
Turnaround time is usually 2-4 weeks after initial payment, though I may take longer depending on my current workload or circumstances in my personal life.
Let me know at least two weeks in advance if you want your commission done by a certain date.
payment & refunds
Payments are to be made via PayPal invoice only. An invoice will be sent to you once the price is finalized.
All payments are to be made upfront in full. I do accept half payment upfront for commissions over $200.
Full refunds are available during the sketch phase only. Otherwise, partial refunds are available at any point before completion (amount will vary based on progress).
usage rights
Do not use for NFTs, cryptocurrencies, or (gen)AI training.
Commissioned pieces may be reposted and shared with credit (@arborknight).
All prices listed are for personal use. Commercial works (i.e. commissions that will be used as part of something that will be monetized, like merchandise designs or streaming assets) will cost extra, usually double the listed price. They are open for negotiation depending on scale and budget, however.

ordering
Please provide visual references for your requested character(s). If it's fanart for something I'm not familiar with, I'm also willing to do my own research.
Visuals for posing and composition are optional, but greatly appreciated!
I am willing to design outfits or props from scratch for a starting fee of $15+.
Exceedingly detailed or complicated character designs will incur additional costs at my discretion.
workflow
I will keep you updated on work progress through DMs or email. Feel free to reach out to me for additional updates or questions. (does not apply to PWYW)
WIPs will be sent for each milestone: sketch (includes a basic color thumbnail), lineart, flat colors, and rendering (including background and other additional details if applicable).
Any drastic changes/edits made after the sketch phase will incur an additional fee at my discretion.
I will send the final digital file(s) to you upon completion. Files will be PNGs by default.

Specify which of the following art styles you want, or just leave it up to my discretion; this will not affect the final price.
Style A:
cel shading, usually without antialiasing for a sharper look.
Style B:
